CHAPTER 11

End Of Flashback 

Shahmeer suddenly opened his eyes..
his eyes were red nd were reflecting so much pain..
he looked here and there in confusion
he was in his office..
he sighed and once again rested his head on the back of the chair..
a lone tear escaped from his eyes..

"I still love you ayesha.. "
he murmured.. 

"but it looks as if you are so happy without me.. "
"May Allah keep You Happy always.."

he prayed for her from the bottom of his heart..…
He closed his eyes and sighed again.. 

he was trying to calm his nerves.. 

Suddenly his phone rang...
He attended the call.. 

it was his manager who was informing him about the meeting which was held at a hotel the next day..
He disconnected the call and cleared his mind and composed himself..
He looked at his watch.. 

it was 8 at night.. 

he was late.. 

He picked his coat and laptop and left the office..

On the other side, ayesha was back at her apartment.... 

she lived alone after the death of her parents.. so much had changed in her life,,,,
Today she was so much disturbed that she didn't have her dinner… 

she picked her diary up and started writing what had happened today... 

it was her routine to write her daily routine in that diary... 

and also to write about him… 

there was not even a single page without his name… 

She finished writing and tried to sleep.. 

surely sleeping today was going to be a tough job..

Early morning at hospital..

Ayesha was walking in the corridor...
She was wearing a sea green shalwar suit with her dopatta on one side and files in her other hand..
She was walking lazily..
Her eyes were puffy and face was pale...
She opened her office door and found neha already there waiting for her..
What shocked neha was her pale face and puffy eyes.. 

she was not looking well at all…

"OmG ayesha…what happened to you?? "
"Nothing.. I am fine.. "

Ayesha tried to look here and there and tried to smile.. but neha was not convinved at all..

"Ayesha don't lie to me.. just look at your face...dont try to fool me and just spill the beans hurry up.. "

But ayesha smiled widely and said

 "nothing happened to me darling.. I had a bad sleep today..thats y I am looking like this..more like a zombie u can say," 

she winked 

" and come on we dont have a whole day..dr azeem will be going to check the patients in 5 minutes so hurry up.."

She said quickly, held her arm and both headed to the ward…

During the round, Dr wasi was stealing glances at ayesha again and again.. 

he had never seen her like that through out those years working with her.. 

she looked disturbed...
Her sad face was hurting him…
Yes.. 

He loved ayesha… 

since the time he first met her.. 

he fell in love with her… 

he wanted to see her smiling all the time and happy…. 

He used to steal glances at her daily, but all secretly....
But today he was staring her intensely… 

Her pale face,
Her puffy eyes..
Her wet lashes,
 swollen lips..
And sad expressions.. 

"Why the hell I am so helpless… why the hell I dont even know the reason why she is sad.. why can't I make her smile… "
He thought.

He was so engrossed in his thoughts that he didn't even have an idea what was going around..
His trance broke with a loud voice of Dr Azeem..
He was scolding ayesha for her lack of attention..
He saw her eyes brimming up with tears and she left suddenly leaving all surprised at her behavior...
Dr azeem too was surprised… 

she never did this before..
She was not like that…


"Whats this......? " 

dr Azeem muttered confusedly..
Neha just cooked up a story that ayesha was not well and everybody was relaxed and all set to work again…

Dr wasi quietly left the room and followed ayesha to her office..
He was about to enter when he heard her crying..
She was crying loud... 

He felt pained..
He couldn't take it, turned the doorknob and entered the room...
Ayesha was sitting on the sofa with her legs folded and her head resting on her knees..
She couldn't see him..
He came and sat near her on the sofa..
She thought that it was neha so she didn't look up and continued sobbing..

"Ayesha"

Dr wasi called her…

She suddenly lifted her head up to see that it was none other than dr wasi sitting close to her.. he was looking at her intensely with strange expressions and loving eyes…

"What happened? Why r u crying? "

He asked her….

Meanwhile, on the other side..

shahmeer entered her mother's room to find that she was struggling to get the glass which was on the side table.. before shahmeer could move, Mrs. Mehr un Nisa lost her balance and the glass fell on the floor..

"Mommmmm"""

Shahmeer shouted.. and in no time, he rushed to hold her…

He was on time…

"What the hell were you doing mom.. u could have called a nurse.. what if something had happened to you.. "

"No beta im fine.." 

his mother gave him a guilty look and lowered her head..

"Where the hell is your doctor and nurse?? "
He gritted his teeth..

"Let me talk to them… ill not spare them for this carelessness...."

"No beta…she must be coming.. no need for this... "
But he didn't listen...
And quickly left the room leaving his mother calling him..

He was angrily walking towards ayesha's room..
He approached the room and what he saw was enough to make his blood boil with anger..
